Can you treat my back and neck problems?

We specialise in sports injury treatments but we are also experienced in treating all types of musculo skeletal pain and injuries.

Do I need a Doctor’s referral?

No anyone can self refer for treatment.


What should I wear?

You will need to wear appropriate clothing for us to be able to examine you. If you are a runner we advise that you bring your running shoes with you to the appointment.


What will happen at my first consultation?

At the initial consultation we will take a full case history is taken. Time is spent listening to you so we understand the nature of the pain, what you think is wrong and how you feel. We will ensure that there are no contra indications to treatment.

We advise that you keep your GP informed of your progress through treatment.

A thorough physical examination is then made noting postural habits, limitations of movement, discomfort, malformations, swelling etc and ascertain your general state of health.

A treatment plan is then formulated taking into consideration your lifestyle, job, diet, chosen activity – and work begins.


How long does a treatment last?

This will depend on why you are attending the clinic. Treatments around 45 minutes, maintenance Physiotherapy up to 30 minutes, K taping 15minutes.


What are your terms of payment?

We are proud to take cheques and cash only.


I want to give a massage as a present, do you do relaxing massage?

Yes we can supply vouchers for either a relaxing massage or a treatment.
